Early Childhood Development Program
Bundamba State School is host to the Bundamba Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP). The ECDP currently operates Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8.45-1.45 during school terms. Our education programs and services support children from birth to 5 years who have been identified with high support needs in one or more the following areas:
• Autism spectrum disorder
• Intellectual impairment
• Physical impairment
• Speech language impairment
• Visual impairment
• Hearing impairment
The Bundamba ECDP is an Education Queensland facility that provides support to families in identifying areas of strength and needs of your child. We offer a range of education services and programs that aim to enhance your child's development, well-being and community participation.
Our children are provided with high-quality early childhood intervention education programs that are run by qualified specialist teachers and supported by Educational Queensland therapists who have a wide breath of experience with young children with disabilities and developmental delay.
All children who access the ECDP will have an individualized program or service plan developed which clearly outline the teaching focus and support that is provided for your child. The goal is to provide every child with a disability the best possible transition to school.
Our caring and compassionate educators develop a close working relationship with our families to ensure we meet children's individual needs and support families in taking the lead in making decisions for their child. We also work together with families and future schools to ensure a smooth transition for your child into full time education programs for their prep year.
Please feel free to contact us for further information regarding the suitability of our program for your child.
